Paddo Terms of Service

Welcome to Paddo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Paddo mobile application, website, and related services. By creating an account or using Paddo, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Paddo.

About Paddo

Paddo is an augmented reality (AR) scavenger hunt game where players hide, discover, and collect virtual rubber ducks in real-world locations, including public spaces and supported cruise ships.

Eligibility

You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws while using Paddo. If you are under the age required to enter into legal agreements in your country, you may only use Paddo with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Accounts

You may sign in using supported authentication providers, including:

• Sign in with Apple
• Google
• Facebook

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

Community Content

You may create or upload content including:

• Duck placements
• Photos
• Notes
• Comments
• Location information
• Other gameplay content

You retain ownership of the content you create. By submitting content through Paddo, you grant Red Lion Media Co. a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, display, and distribute that content solely for operating and improving the Paddo service.

Community Guidelines

Please help keep Paddo fun and family friendly.

You agree not to:

• Post illegal, harmful, hateful, threatening, or explicit content.
• Harass or impersonate other users.
• Upload malicious software or interfere with the service.
• Attempt to exploit bugs or security vulnerabilities.
• Automate gameplay using bots or scripts.
• Scrape or reverse engineer the service except where permitted by law.

Accounts violating these rules may be suspended or terminated.

Real-World Safety

Paddo encourages exploration, but your safety comes first.

Always:

• Remain aware of your surroundings.
• Respect local laws and posted rules.
• Respect private property.
• Respect businesses, cruise staff, and venue staff.
• Avoid dangerous or restricted locations.
• Never use Paddo while operating a vehicle.

Paddo does not guarantee that any location is safe, accessible, or appropriate for gameplay. You are solely responsible for your actions while using the app.

Cruise Gameplay

Certain gameplay features are available only at supported cruise embarkation ports or during supported cruise sessions. Supported ports and participating ships may change over time.

In-App Purchases

Paddo offers optional in-app purchases through Apple's App Store. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's payment terms. Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies.

Intellectual Property

Paddo, its branding, software, artwork, logos, and original content are owned by Red Lion Media Co. These materials may not be copied, redistributed, or modified without permission.

Availability

We continually improve Paddo. Features may be added, modified, or discontinued at any time. Online services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service. You may stop using Paddo at any time.

Disclaimer

Paddo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of user-generated content, or compatibility with every device or location.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Lion Media Co. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of Paddo. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Paddo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
